Double D Rack
The CFR Double D- rack system is the best ways to carry your 5 gallon gas can camera, food or whatever you might need to bring along with you on your snowmobile. The Double D- Rack is also designed to carry snowboards and skis when you have all the proper attachments.(Sold separately)
Mounting Instructions
The dimensions on the Double D-rack are:
- Mounting plate- 8 ½ X 2 ½
- Rack – 16 ¼ wide X 12 ½ long X 7 ¼ High

1 aluminum rack

Hardware to secure rack on snowmobile
Tools Needed:
- Drill with 1/8th and 9/32nd inch drill bit.
- 1 Socket ratchet with a 7/16th or 11m socket.
- 1 7/16th or 11m open end wrench.
- Hole punch

Step #1
Remove any rack that is already on the rear of snowmobile.
Step #2
Position rack on the back of snowmobile in desired position.
Step #3
Look underneath snowmobile tunnel and make sure you will be able to bolt on rack without puncturing any heat exchangers.
Step#4
Pull out the hardware kit that is on Double D- rack. Make sure you have four 1’ long 1/4 bolts, 8 washers and 4 nylon nuts.
Step #5
Use a marker and mark 4 holes on rack mounting plate that will position rack where you would like it on tunnel. Using hole punch and hammer, punch all marked spots on rack mounting plate.
Step #6
Drill four holes in rack mounting plate where marked. Use 1/8th drill bit as a pilot hole fist and end using 9/32nd bit.
Step#7
Put rack on snowmobile exactly how you would like it to be positioned. Mark carefully with a marker the center of all four holes onto snowmobile tunnel
Step#8
Using hole punch and hammer, punch all marked spots on snowmobile tunnel where the four holes need to be drilled.
Step #9
Check underneath snowmobile to make sure you will not drill into a heat exchanger in the spots you marked. If so change mounting location.
Step#10
Drill four holes in snowmobile tunnel where marked. Use 1/8th drill bit as a pilot hole first and end using 9/32nd bit.
Step#11
Secure Double D rack on back of snowmobile with hardware provided using open ended wrench and socket ratchet.
