February 18th, We rounded up the crew and went for a helidrop on Mt Currie. The snow on Hibachi was not ideal but it wasniceto stay in the sun before we dropped in on the north face. The rappelinto the Y was a bit rocky to say the least. The snow in the shoot was semi soft and fast!!. The hike up for the next run is exposed and a bit stressful. The next face was blower pow. We got bitch slapped at the bottom by the alders. Out just before dark.
January 20th, The sun was out but my snowmobile would not start. Kyle and i headed up for a day on the slopes. The lodge was full of a bunch of mec's that claimed the snow was crusty.

March 31st, Jack and John gave me a call and asked if i wanted to go hit Plinth peak . I quickly blew everything off i had to do and started getting my stuff together. It was late afternoon when we took off.The avalanche sign warning was no joke. There was no other way around. luckily john brought the metal Sitka shit shovel and we chipped away at the solid ice avalanche debre. A couple of hours later
through the avalanche pile up and continued onward.
Farther down the road we had to dig out a couple spots to get through. There was no way to snowmobile past the next avalanche trench. This is were we would have to start hiking from. It ended up adding about an hour and a half each way to our trip.We snowmobiled back to a shelter we found and set up camp and preped for the next day. The 2 am wake up was early to say the least. By 3:30 am we reached the Avalanche and parked the sleds. The elevation was 2200 feet. Fourhours later we watched the sun coming up as we entered the alpine. It started to get steep so we put on our crampons and pulled out the iceaxes. The snow got deeper and deeper the higher we went so we had to change our route up a couple of times. Looking back down.We reached the top 8 Hours after leaving the snowmobiles. The elevation at the top is 8750 feet. The views of Mt Meager, Devastator peak, job peak, lillooet glacier and the Pemberton valley were spectacular. The shredding down was all-time. It was steep and the snowwasdeep and sloughing like crazy. There was a great view of the plinth on the way out. We reached the Avalanche path and the site of our snowmobiles was great to see. It was around 5:30 in the afternoon. A solid 14 hour day.

March 10th, Jonaven Moore, Scott Newsome, ChrisAnkeny, Dan Kostrzewski and isnowmobiledintocallaghan country lodge for a three night and four day retreat. It was cold, the sun was out and there was four feet of the driest snow i have ever seen in the coast mountains. The terrain was all split board and snow shoe access. We had a late start but managed to ride a couple of things. The next day was cloudy so we stayed in the trees and rode some pillow lines.
The next day was sunny. Scott toured to the top and un leashed this line. Jonaven decided to cross court this monster air. The ping pong table in the lodge was a hit with the crew. The next day was cloudy so we headed back to the pillows. Jonaven tried to piece this line together. It was getting late so we headed down for the sled ride back to reality. The callaghan crew took great care of us.

I heard some really bad sounds and was stoked to see chris come out okay at the bottom. A 1/2 hour hike out and we were back at the sleds. It was a one run is enough day.
January 27th,
The day started out with a bang. It rainned to the top on tuesday but It was sunny and nice so we went out for a roop not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw this. We made it down just before dark. The moon light was a pleasant surprise.

January 20th, The sun came out at noon and Joe,Johnny and i quickley assembled our gear and headed out to the local sledshred zone. Joe did not hesitate and dropped in and out of the main spine line.
January 17th, Ian, Eric and I decided to get a Heli drop on Mt Currie. The snow was all time and it looked like it would be great conditions from the top to bottom. Pemberton helicopters was our taxi and gave us a great flight. Guy our pilot said to hang out on the top and he would fly around us and take some photos and video.
The top was compact and super fast. The snow in the pillow lines
at mid mountain was really fun.
We hiked a couple of laps
and headed down. The gully at the bottom had slid and was rock hard ice and rock mixed together. The logging road coming out was thick will alders. We made it out just before dark.
January 13th We headed out to The Selkirks for our good late friend Greg Todd's memorial. Greg is the inventor of the No Board and created a new way to snowboard with out foot pain. The No Board is a pad with rubber nobs and a handle in the middle that you stick to the top of your snowboard. A piece of elastic webbing is connected on each end of the pad and screws into your inserts on your snowboard. Instead of using bindings your feet are free to move around anywhere you like. Holding onto the rope keeps the snowboard tight against your feet and when you feel comfortable you can let go and surf the snow. No Boarding has been taking off with the numbers growing faster than pads can be made. Cholo Burns was Gregs partner and is keeping the dream alive. The Selkirk's had gotten 8 feet of snow the previous week and the temps were -20 so the quality and quantity of snow was top notch. It was perfect for No Boarding. Saturday started off with a timed event for both amateur and pros down a natural jump filled clear cut. Gabe Langois took the mensamateur and Scott Penner took the mens pro with smoking times down the fresh Selkirk silk pow course . Following the timed event was the Asian Canadian downhill sponsored by Red bull. It was a full on anything goes as all of the top pros strait lined it for the $200 first place prize and the glory of winning the prestigious event. SkySheele took home the money and the title for this year. Ian Millar took home the Charger of the day award with a huge air that i
Personally
witnessed. It would have made No Board history had he landed. That night there was an auction to raise money for gregs family. Snowboards, outerware and paintings were just some of the things auctioned off. MC Stu was in a giving mood and auctionned (Right click save) off A kick (Right click save) to the nuts. Scott Penner won but could not do this to another man. Andrew Hardingham stepped up to the plate and kicked Stu so hard that i am surprised it did not kill him. A lot of good laughs and $$ was raised for Gregs family. The next day we awoke to blue skies. We were moving slowely but surely trying to get out and enjoy the sunny day. The snowwasamazing and we had some great runs. The alpenglow light on the way home was a great way to end the trip. We left for home the next day. Waiting for the ferry on the way home V and Fanny did a couple of No Board laps. R.I.P GT.
January 1st Happy new Year!! We headed out on a New Years eve day sled shred mission to an easy access zone. The wind had scowered all exposed ridges but the windward slopesweresuper fun. After a greatday we decided to play a little jamaican Ping Pong to celebrate New Years eve. The Crosscountry ski mission to see the fireworks in town was more difficult than you could imagine. Six hours later we ended up back at home bruised beaten and tired.

May 21st Check out Team CFR's Ryan Johannesen of Golden BC Canada's winter of 05-06 video.
April 22nd It had been snowing for days. The weather had kept us at the resort but today was the day. The sun was out and the temps were cold. A crew of us headed up the Callahan to get some sled shredding in. We had an early start. The drive in. We reached the morning Glory and it was lookin all time. We went up and dug a pit on the upper saddle. We heard and felt a big woompf as we started to dig. We all started hiking back up on the ridge when the entire upper slope ripped a metre deep. The slide propigated all the way across the entire bowl. The snow exploded as it flew over the exposed rock and went all the way to the valley below. I had never seen that slope rip and had never seen a slide like that before so close. A very humbling experience. We headed up to the glaciers were the snow would be better and hopefully not have such a bad layer. The twin shoots looked good to go. The snow here was very winter like and did not have any hard layers. Vanessa was the first to drop in. Joe followed. I took slopy seconds on Joes shoot and figure eighted his turns. Cholo was on his No Board (Go to www.noboard.ca) blowing us away that he did not have bindings on his snowboard. Chris and Joe found a fun zone to shred. We scoped out some other potentialruns and took off. It was a great day considering the Avalanche conditions.
April 5th An unexpected high pressure moved in and i found myself with a crew of good friends for a trip into the Tantalus range outside of Squamish BC Canada. The crew consisted of Kevin Smith, Chris Ankeny, Tom Routh,
Mike Harrelson and I.
The 6am departure had clear skies in Pemberton. We drove to Squamish to find mostly cloudy skies. The weather looked more promising for the next two days so we jumped in the a star (Right click and save) up to the cabin. The weather socked even worse as soon as we unloaded the Heli (Right click and save). It got windy and cold and even began to snow.We were all pretty tired so the day was spent catching up on some sleep. The cabin was still under construction but provided a dry and wind free place to hang out. The next day we awoke to sun and clouds so we quickly gathered our things and headed out. We saw a chute from the helicopter the day before we wanted to ride on Mt Dione. After a long hike (Right click and save) we could not find the entrance to the original line. Luckily we found another chute to ride that ended up feeding into the original line we checked out from the heli. The views were spectacular on the hike back to the cabin. There was an amazing sunset from what felt like the top of the world. The night was full of good food and good times with our rations if CR and canadians. The view from my bed of the sunrise was a great way to wake up.The next day we decided to hit Mt Serratus. The hike was steep and the temperature was really heating up. The bergstroms were huge on the face also and would not allow us to summit. We ended up not being able to get to the face that we wanted to but opted for another line. The clouds looked like they were going to shut us down so we headed back to the cabin. Once we arrived at the cabin the sun was poking its head in and out. Chris decided to hit this shoot we had been looking at since we arrived. After watching Chris i saw another line beside his and hiked up and did it. We all went back to the cabin and started to pack our stuff. We had been very good with our alcohol rationing and decided to polish it all off before the Heli arrived. The pilot gave us a radio and said he would call and give us a heads up before he came. The sounds of the helicopter coming was a big superprise as we were finishing packing, cleaning up and drinking the rest of our booze. We quickly ran all of our stuff outside to the landing area. We will be back.
March 30th The sun woke me up at 6am. I jumped out of bed and checked the sky line. It looked like it might be another sunny day. I checked the webcams and it did not look as promising. I made breakfast and slowly got my stuff together.I made some calls around 7 but the clouds were getting thicker. By 8 the sun had gone away and was no were to be found. I was all ready to go so i had to do something. Joe Lax and i decided to go on a bit of a recon mission.
The snow had gone isothermic and was like mash potatoes. It was hard to get around but we were managing untill we hit the river crossing. The bank coming out was really steep and we were not sure about getting back. I walked ahead a ways to see if it was worth building something to get across. The alders got really thick up the road a bit and i turned around. It was going to require a lot of work to get up to the alpine. The snow was so isothermic that it was hard to snowmobile up anything steep. We would come back when the conditions were better. When i got back to Joe he was working on the bridge. He agreed that we should leave and so we were preparing to take off. Joe looked over at some dead trees and said i think we might have something here. He proceeded to push the tree back and forth. I helped him and the tree finally fell over. that was fun joe said. We knocked down the other two and constructed our own bridge. The sun was coming out another valley past were we were at. We decided to come back to the bridge building and alder cutting another day. The peaks on the other side of the creek looked amazing and we would definetly be back. The next valley had much easier access. The light was okay and we decided to try and gain elevation to check out the first valleys alpine access from above. Joe and i attempted many times to do the hill climb with no luck. Joe noticed a small shelf on the right side of the hill we were tring to climb. I tried it and next thing i knew i was locked into a side hill i could not get out of. I kept her pinned and made it to the top. I radiod to joe and he was stuck in the trench i made on the way up.I took a few photos of the lower valley we were trying to get to earlier. I worked my way down and helped Joe get un stuck. I had trenched the road up really bad so Joe and i decided to head home. Joe was in front of me as we worked our way down through the trees. We came across a narrow bridge and next thing you know i am being catapulted through the air off of my snowmobile and into a bank wall. The snow bridge had failed on the right side and dumped me and my snowmobile into the creek. I radiod Joe with no return response. I worked quickly. It was getting dark and joe would not stop untill he gets to the truck. I managed to dig, cut and pull my sled over untill it was flat. I then built a road out the side on got out just before dark.
March 29th The weather forcasts for the past week have been not even close to being correct. Wednesday was forcasted to be cloudy with a chance of showers. It ended up lookin like this. The posse was 6 strong and included Joe Lax, Delaney,Dan Treadway,Dave Treadway ian Miller and I. Ians snowmobile is getting fixed so we tandemed in. The Glory never looked so good. I had a line i really wanted to do.I had done it before but ended up having to hike out because the take off had some trees on it. It was more filled in this year and it ended up being one of my best lines of the year. Stoked!! Ian rebated It slides you dies. He had to hike out also the year before because of lack of snow in the shoot section. The turns coming in looked like mid winter snow. The quarter pipe wall slash was awesome and i could almost here Ian giggle as he slashed it. Joewas ripping the Glory to pieces. It was Delaneys first time at the glory but it did not hold him back. Dave Treadway was skiing every run like it was his last. The clouds rolled in and we rolled out. Three runs each on the Glory for all of us. It was a great day.
March 28th I left early on saturday march 11th to catch a plane to Bella Coola. I was going to film for a television show with Director Tim Miln, camera man Daryle Hackett and sound guy Paul Vance of Ride Lounge productions. I was the token snowboarder along with skiers ChrisEby, Davey Barr andCharlotteMoats. The drive from Pemberton to the city has never looked so sweet. The flight up to Bella Coola was not so bad either. The highlight of the flight was definetly the Mt Waddington fly by. Flying into the Bella Coola valley. We were all staying on the ultimate set up. The 110 foot Ocean Explorer with a bell 407 helicopter on the back. Hank was not only the captain but the mister fix everything all around nice guy. Jay was our gourmet food maker.
We got into our gear asap and jumped into the heli to go and take advantage of the cloudless sky. I would have to say we found the most windscowered face possible for our first run. We took our time getting down and by the time we were down it was time to head back to the boat. The second day we found a fun zone. The snow was a little wind affected but we manged to find some good pockets. Weather moved in for a few days but luckilly the boat was anchored right next to a sweet hot springs. Even with the bad weather there was so many fun things to do. The sun came back and all of the peaks looked good to go. This was the next run. We ate lunch and figured out our game plan for the afternoon. We all had our own wave to slash on this cool face. Chris made the guiness book of world records on the next run with the longest spine ever ridden. The final run of the trip had an amazing view of cascade Inlet. Chris launched a nice cliff off of the top. Midway down the slope we stopped and took in the sites. As we were waiting for the helicopter to come back for us this wall was having non stop natural avalanches coming down its face.
The last night on the boat was a night to remenber. Whisky was the drink and strange stuff happens when you are drinking whisky. Andy put $150.00 on the line for anybody to jump off of the top railing of the boat into the cold water below.
Everybody else pitched in and next thing you know it was up to $260.00. I am a sucker for stuff like this so i jumped. We all wanted one more night in the hot springs so we then headed for one last soak. Jay our cook was drinking wild turkey and was jumping off of every rock into the tub. Jay was entertaining none the less. It did not stop at the hotsprings. When we reached the boat jay was in wild turkey mode gobble gobbling around the kitchen. It was hard to leave the boat. It was the most relaxing fun vacation i think i ever have had. Life will never be the same.
February 28th High Avalanche danger did not stop us from going up and checking out the conditions. We were planning on doing tree laps but the sun came out and we had to sample the alpine. Delaney cut the top and the slope let loose. After the slide we decided to let the alpine settle and rip some tree laps. The snow was really deep(Right click and save).Go to the Forum and check out the rest of the story.
February 11th
Another 2 epic days have wrapped up. With the high pressure system clearing the skies, it was game on. Day one we ventured into a zone i can only describe as 'the jungle', spines instead of vines. We started early and got on breaking trail into the zone. Here's a view from the top of zone. Not to shabby. First runs were fun. We had to deal with massive cornices that surrounded the entire rim of the bowl, there were a few entrances but getting to them proved to be tricky. After a lap Dave B decided it was game on and unleahed on this line. It was fast and sick, I was in awe. Then Joe decided to get extreme and hit Eric's Peel. I stayed stayed mellow. Soucy banged off a few bangers too but I have no pics. We wrapped up and out of there anticepating an even bigger day tomorrow.
So the bigger day arrives, an even earlier start was muffled by an unexpected patch of ice on the logging road up. After Dave slid backwards down the hill with his sled in the back of his truck, we had to re-think our plan. We hummed and haa'd, and in the end pinned it up the ice field bouncing off the water bars, we all made it with out incedent. But it put us off about an hour. Still a nice ride up though. It's been a while since this zone has been broken into, lucky for us a couple guys, Jack and John broke the trail in, when we got there it was good to be back. The ride up is a beauty. Winding threw a one gnarled out glacier and eventually arriving at the shred lines. So we shredded some warm ups then Joe got gnarly again, sketchier times have never been witnessed...In this picture Joe is tieing into a skidoo, about to shovel out an entrance into Joe's spine line. The whole deal took about half an hour, i watched wondering why I let my friends do this. All in all it turned out sweet, i should have some pretty sick shots from it. After the shredding was done we moved down the ridge, shredded some more sweet lines, the nub in the end of that picture is where Dave is in this picture. I had the spine on the right, the snow was dope, we were stoked. Sanchez took the gut of the shoot and ended up at the pick up here. All these laps are huge, lots of vertical, Joe and I were beat. Super Dave is never beat so he and Sanchez went for a super lap. and hiked off into the sunset. It was late so Joe and I put in one more and packed it up... and we were out of there. On the way out we hooked up with Jack and John, cracked a cooly and ripped home.
February 8th
The last 2 days of shredding have been purty sweet, day one was up the valley. The lite was in and out all day, but started nice. When we cracked that mist it looked a little like this then like this. Shredded a few laps then started breaking and building a road. Lucky us, the road took us to a short walk from this shooter . Dave B drpped in first. a couple more epic laps and it was time to go .
Yesterday day was Karine's and Vanessa's B-Day's so we rounded up a posse and shredded sledded some trees, (Vanessa went Heli) again the light was in and out but it was still pretty fricken awsome .
We trandemed our little hearts out, and burnt off laps for most the day. Abby makes for a nice picture up close and from a far, site seeing with Pilar (black dot on right). More epic liight moved in and more epic laps were had. All in all and good day in the trees with some good peeps.
February 1st Welcome to the new site.

Snowmoboarding is combing the fun of snowboarding and snowmobiling together. Sled skiing is combining the fun of skiing and snowmobiling together. It sounds easy on paper but when it's all said and done it can be back breaking. Our goal at Cheetah Factory Racing is to help bring the two sports together and make it as easy as possible. We were the first to manufacture snowboard racks for snowmobiles and ski racks for snowmobiles and continue to be the best. Our patents pending designs are designed to keep the feel of the snowmobile the same while bringing up your snowboard and or skis. Maneuvering up to your favorite line or jump spot is not always easy especially tandem riding (Two people side by side). By keeping equipment on your snowmobile you can concentrate on maneuvering and guiding your snowmobile to the top. Having your equipment hitting you in the back of the head not only can hurt but also can knock you off course and be dangerous. Keep your equipment off your back and on the CFR rack.
The CFR hood lock downs will keep the hood of your snowmobile from ripping off when you happen to accidentally role your snowmobile down the S-shoot.
